The Sporting World Time is equipped with an engraved dial showing all 24 time zones. It also comes with a day / night display, power reserve display and calendar. Appearance and function
The Sporting World Time is available in stainless steel and has a sturdy look. The bezel with six function screws adds a lot to this classic model. The dial with Roman numerals and the track-type minute ring is even more unique. This timepiece features a 45 mm diameter stainless steel case that is water-resistant to 100 meters, and comes with a cobalt blue alligator strap and a stainless steel pin buckle.
This watch is equipped with a day / night display and can display both the local time and the second time zone time, the latter of which can be selected by means of a disc engraved with the names of 24 cities. The bright red seconds hand adds a lively touch to the dark blue lacquered dial.
The internal RL939 caliber was developed by Jaeger-LeCoultre for Ralph Lauren. It has a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and a 40-hour power reserve.
